Business Development Executive

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify new business, primarily through telephone communication, by reaching out to prospects and introducing NPS Solutions.
  • Nurture all outbound leads through to qualification for NPS’S inside sales team
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Identify customer needs to determine if NPS solutions would be a good fit
  • Work with management to develop new strategies to grow sales pipeline, and consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management


  • Minimum of 1-year outbound/inbound telephone sales experience working with business owners (logging 250+ calls a day) or equivilant sales experience
  • CEGEP Diploma strongly preferred but not required
  • Ability to enthusiastically represent the company and its services. (i.e. maintain a positive attitude at all times)
  • Ability to get past gatekeeper to decision maker is a must
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment
  • You are ambitious and driven to accomplish your goals
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to perform job functions under stress and pressure

Work schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:30am-4:30pm
  • Base $14/hour + Commission
  • 35 hours a week
